How much does it cost?

- We can also offer coaching pricing without accommodation, and we can arrange beginner lessons with a local school, so if you are in Sri Lanka already or would like to bring friends who aren’t joining for coaching then please let us know.
Sri Lanka is a flat water paradise for kitesurfers, with a range of spots and wind for 8 months of the year, it’s easy to see why we decided to base ourselves there for 6 years!
For our winter kitesurf coaching trips to Sri Lanka we will stay at Hiru Resort, a beautiful place a short walk from the beach and the kite spot. We include accommodation, 3 meals per day at various restaurants, airport transfers and of course our coaching!
February 2026
During the winter season (Mid December- End February) the wind picks up around midday and blows on average 15-20 knots until sunset, around 6pm. Due to the North Westerly direction we can kitesurf almost directly in front of our accommodation at Hiru resort, where there is a perfect sand bar with butter flat water. Sometimes we’re lucky and get wind in the morning already, but if not there is diving or dolphin/whale watching and lots of other activities to keep you occupied.
