Sri Lanka – Wave and Wing

This kitesurf and wing wave camp is aimed at 2 types of people:

1. People who want to try out riding a surfboard with a kite, or improve their kitesurfing in small waves
2. Wing foilers, from total beginners up to guys wanting to progress in some small waves. The spot is perfect for learning wing foil wave basics.

The aim is to provide a safe environment to make the first steps and get comfortable in wave riding, either with a kite or a wing. We can also arrange beginner wing foiling lessons and rental gear, through our accommodation at Kitesurfing Lanka.

What’s included?

• 7 nights accommodation at Kitesurfing Lanka, 3 meals per day
• 6 days coaching, 2 beach sessions and 1 video session per day (around 30 total hours of coaching over the full week)
• Airport transfers
• ALL Pictures and videos from the week

How much does it cost?

• With wave coaching (wing or kite)
• Price per person based on two people sharing a room with AC: €1900 
• Single occupancy price with AC: €1970

• Without coaching
• Price per person based on two people sharing a room with AC: €1180 
• Single occupancy price with AC: €1250

Extra costs (optional):

• Wingfoil full gear rental: 80€ per day. Half day 50€
• Wingfoil beginner lesson: 80€ per hour (We would suggest an hour per day then renting to practice under supervision)
• Kite surf board rental: 35€ per day. Half day 20€

Sri Lanka offers a great option for learning in the waves, because the spot at Donkey point has cross offshore wind and small wind driven swell. The waves rarely get above shoulder height, and we have a rescue boat to help anyone who gets into difficulty. We also have lagoons for practicing riding a surfboard or wing foiling, so even if you’ve never ridden a surf board or wing foiled before this is the camp for you! Or if you fancy a bit of a mix you can do both!
